After an unfortunate incident, Patch quits as Santa’s assistant and moves to New York City. There, Patch becomes acquainted with an evil toy executive (John Lithgow) who attempts to use the naïve elf to eliminate Santa Claus. This is one of the meaningful, yet hilarious and cheerful Christmas films and classics.
This is one of the most well-known films in which the leading character is an elf. Dudley Moore is so funny and endearing that he draws audiences right into the world of Santa, elves, reindeer, and toys.
